Wine is produced all over the Untied States. The quality of these wines has greatly increased since the 1970's. Currently forty states produce wine. In this SIS Guide to Wine, we have featured two states.
California is the most well-known of the wine producing states, producing 90% of all domestic wine. NAPA Valley is a popular tourist spot with many wineries in one area.
Another featured state in this SIS Guide to Wine is Virginia. Virginia wines are becoming more and more popular. Virginia wine country encompasses a large area of the state. Wine festivals are popular with residents as well as tourists.
