    World Water Conference :Building on past international efforts and relying on the collective wisdom and resources of the international water community, the process leading to a Vision will include research,consultations, workshops, print and electronic publications and many other means for absorbing, synthesizing and disseminating knowledge.

    United Nations : The United Nations is an organization of sovereign nations. It provides the machinery to help find solutions to international problems or disputes, and to deal with pressing concerns that face people everywhere.

    Inter-American Water Resources Network : directory of water resource organizations

    Humboldt Water Resources : specializing in constructed wetlands for water/wastewater treatment.

    Lake Peipsi Project : promote sustainable development in the transboundary region of Estonia and Russia for Lake Peipsi watersed.

    Association of California Water Agencies : information about public water agencies and water issues.

    Australian Water and Wastewater Association :

    Batiquitos Lagoon Foundation : dedicated to the preservation, enhancement, and protection of a surviving tidal coastalwetland.

    Chehalis River Council : a non-profit corporation dedicated to maintaining and restoring the water resources of the Chehalian River Basin.

    Guihon : Felege Guihon International - organization that strives to preserve the ecological equilibrium ofthe headwaters of the Blue Nile Basin and stands for the Orits' social and human development.

    Friendsoftheriver :Friends of the River - identifies outstanding rivers in California - and in watersheds shared with Oregan, Nevada, and Arizona - and mobilizes people to protect and restore their ecosystems.

    IRN : International Rivers Network- Working to halt the construction of destructive river development projects and to promote sound river management worldwide.
