Laurence Boisson de Chazournes:
is a Senior Counsel in the World Bank's Legal Department where she works on environmental projects as well as various projects and activities with international law components. She has a Ph.D. in International Law from the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva, Switzerland. Before joining the Bank, she worked as a consultant for various international organizations, some of which are; the UN Center for Human Rights, the International Labor Organization, and the Secretariat of the Climate Change Convention. Dr. Boisson also taught international law and international environmental law at the Graduate Institute of International Studies and at the Faculty of Law, University of Geneva, and is the author of several publications and articles.
 
Angelo Dell' Atti:
is a Senior Investment Officer in the International Financial Division of Lyonnaise des Eaux. He previously worked with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), where he opened the office of the bank in Slovenia and participated in various projects in the country, inter alia, representing the bank in the board of its major dedicated investment fund. He previously worked for JP Morgan in the caital markets area where he was in charge of Italian clients in Italy and abroad. He holds a Masters Degree in Economics from the Universite Libre de Bruxelles, and is a graduate in Business Administration from the Universita Bocconi in Milan.
 
Sharif Elmusa:
is an independent consultant and has been for a number of years a senior research fellow at the Institute for Palestine Studies in Washington, D.C. He received his Ph.D. in Regional Development and Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his B.S. in civil engineering from Cairo Unviersity. Dr. Elmusa spent a year as a senior Fulbright resesarch scholar in the West Bank and Jordan where he did comparative research on water and agriculture. He has worked as a cconsultant/author with the UNDP, the World Food Program, the World Resources Institute, and the Library of Congress. Dr. Slmusa has published numerous articles on technology and natural resources and economic development.
 
Atif Kubursi:
is a professor of economics at McMaster University where he has been since 1969. He was a visiting scholar at Cambridge University, United Kingdom in 1973-1974, a Senior Development Officer at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization in Vienna in 1981-1982, and consulted and lectured at Harvard from 1989 to 1996. Dr. Kubursi holds a B.A. from the American University of Beirut, and an M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Purdue University.
 
Hilal Elver:
has held the UNEP Char of Environmental Diplomacy at the Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies in malta and was a member of the faculty at Ankara University Law School. She is currently co-director of the Golden Gate Law School Summer Program in Istanbul. She is now writing a book on the Euphrates/Tigris River Conflict.
 
Fantu Cheru:
is a professor of International Development at American University. He is a socio-economist who specializes in rural development, small-scale enterprise environmental planning and resource management, urban and regional planning, project planning and evaluation, participatory research methods, and instiuttional building and training. He received his Ph. D. in Political Economy from Portland State University and has been a consultant for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the United Nations Center for Human Settlements (Habitat) and the African Development Foundation (ADF) among others. Dr. Cheru is the author of many articles and several books.
 
P. Basak:
is Executive Director of the Centor for Water Resources Development & Management, (CWRDM) in India. He is the pricipal scientist who coordinates all research and related administrative activities of the center. Previously, he was a World Health Organization (WHO) National Consultant in research and development for the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. He received his Ph. D. in Civil Engineering from I.T.T. in Kanpur. Dr. Basak is the author of more than 200 research publications in leading scientific journals of the world.
 
Salman M.A. Salman:
is Senior Counsel, South Asia Division of the Legal Department at the World Bank. He is responsible for the lending program in a number of sectors, including agriculture and water, in India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh. He has contributed immensely to the dissemination of conventions, treaties, agreements, and domestic laws on water, both within the World Bank, and with other organizations and institutions. He received both his LL.M. and J.S.D. from Yale Law School. Mr. Salman is the author of many journal publications.
 
Steven Shoniwa:
in addition to his substantive duties as Deputy Provincial Water Engineer Mashonaland Province with the Department of Water Resource at the Ministry of Rurual Resources and Water Development, lectures on a part-time basis at the Institute of Sanitation and Water Development. He received his Postgraduate Diploma in Sanitary Engineering and his M.Sc in Environmental and Water Resources Management.
 
Robert A. Bisson:

Bisson co-founded EarthWater Technology International, Inc. in 1993 and is the company's President. Over the past 31 years he has pursued a career as a professional explorationist, innovator and entrepreneur. He has explored the continental shelves of Europe, Africa and the Americas as an oceanographer and diver, developed new technologies for mineral and water exploration and geographic data processing. He founded new enterprises in the USA, Europe, Africa and the Middle East and opened global markets for products he developed. As ETI's Projects Developer, he is currently working with major water utilities privatization firms such as Enron International on prospective BOOT deep aquifer projects representing over 100 million gallons per day of combined build-out in the USA, Europe, South America, the Mid-East and South East Asia.

 
Declan J. Duff:
Declan Duff is Director of IFC's Teleommunication, Transportation and Utilities Department. He was formerly manager of IFC's business in five Asian countries. He also worked in the Corporate Finance Services Department, having been selected as one of the founding members of this Department. Previously he was Vice President and head of business development for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East with Mellon Bank, a major corporate bank in the USA. He was responsible for planning, developing, and managing all the bank's business in the region including capital markets, investment and cash management products.
 
Rosina Hassoun:
is an Adjunct Professor in Michigan State University's Anthropology Department. Dr. Hassound has abundant experience teaching at the university level and in research and community outreach. She ws an instructor at Michgan State University , Henry Ford Community College, Penn State University, and University of Florida. She worked as an Immunization Program Coordinator for Genesys Health Systems and facilitated the development of local and state immunization registries, increased county and state immunization rates in 0-2 year olds, and identified barriers to immunization. She also facilitated activities and coordinated meetings to reach specific immunization goals and build county-wide computerized immunization registry. She received her Ph. D. in Anthropology from the University of Florida and her M.S. and B.S. from Texas A & M University.
 
Gabriel E. Eckstein 

              is an associate with Sutter & Enslein in Charleston, WV where he works in a variety
              of  areas including environmental issues.  He holds a Master of Law in International 
              Environmental Law as well as a degree in Geology.  Gabriel has published a number 
              of articles on international water law and served as a researcher on the subject for the
              Hungarian side in the ICJ case concerning the Gabcikovo-Nagymaros dam project.
