The Latin American Studies Association (LASA) is the principal
international and inter-disciplinary professional association. Students,
faculty, researchers and anyone else interested in Latin American studies
is welcome to join.
The last LASA international congress was held 24-26 September
1998 in Chicago. The next meeting will be held in Miami 16-18 March 2000.
