Lesson 20

Question SA-8. Here is the text reference (p. 203/2):
In the midst of the horses which ran with fright, their reins broken,
their legs agile, their unruly manes into the wind, and their ears pinned
back, the Merchant's horse stumbled, and threw him rolling to the base of
a tree. At that instant a bolt of lightning hit the tree, and its roots
grabbed him like a hand grabs a stone, and threw him into the abyss.
