f. Spanish Internship (Proyecto Amistad) 37.491 2-6

g. The remaining hours (to make 39) in this section may be chosen from:

Spanish Topics (37.356); Colloquium on Latin America (37.559); Classics of Latin American Literature (37.554); Introduction to Spanish Translation (37.358); Advanced Spanish Translation (37.359), and other similar Spanish courses above 37.353 approved by your advisor. Topics and Colloquia may be repeated if different.

II. Required options: In addition to the above, select one of these:

a. Minimum of 12 hours of a second foreign language at any level. OR:

b. Minimum of 12 hours in area studies courses in the major field at the .300 level or above (taught in either Spanish or English). OR:

c. Teacher Education certification (secondary level foreign language). OR:

d. An approved minor or major which is related to the Spanish major.
