There are no sufficient statistics on the percent of adults who are college graduates and on the number of English speaking citizens. It is mandatory, however, that each registered student complete at least eight years of schooling. English language is taught in private as well as in public schools in Jordan starting from the first grade.

There are several computer magazines distributed in Jordan. BYTE magazine distributes its Arabic edition (BYTE ME) in the Jordanian market. BYTE magazine has a regional office in Amman which handles the translation and customization of the magazine's English edition into Arabic to meet the needs of the local customer as well as those of other Arabic speaking countries. PC World and PC magazine are also available in the local market. Furthermore, there are local newspapers that have sections on technology both in Arabic and in English. Examples of such newspapers are: The Jordan Times, Star Weekly Newspaper, and Al-Rai daily newspaper.
