Information Technology in Argentina
Argentina's recent growth in technology has principally been spurred by heavy external investment in telecommunications. Since this telecommunications growth is relatively recent, most of the systems development has been fueled by non-Argentine companies. Subsequently, no dominant geographical location has evolved into a center for technical development similar to the Silicon Valley in the US.
