Rainer Leeb was born in Eisenstadt, Austria, in 1969. He grew up in Donnerskirchen, Burgenland, a small beautiful town surrounded by vineyards off Lake Neusiedl in the eastern part of Austria. In 1994, he graduated from the University of Economics and Business Administration at Vienna, majoring in accounting and auditing. He traveled extensively throughout the United States and decided to add an MBA with a concentration in Management Information Systems at the American University in Washington, DC. As the head of the Graduate Business Association, Rainer represents the MBA and MS students at the Kogod College Business Administration.
Rainer has gathered work experience with an American multinational where he worked in the Finance Department in the Austrian sites as well as in Chicago, IL. He plans to become a valuable member of the management team in a global corporation, linking the needs of the finance and information systems functions. He likes to work in a multinational environment and has become proficient in two foreign languages, English and Spanish.
