American University was chartered by an Act of
Congress in
1893 and founded under the auspices of the United Methodist Church. Today
it is an independent coeducational university with more than 11,000
students enrolled in undergraduate, master's, doctoral, and professional
degree programs. On an 84-acre residential campus in a quiet neighborhood
in upper northwest Washington, D.C., the university attracts students
from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the
territories, and more than 150 foreign countries.
EagleInfo is currently being developed and refined, thus you
may see changes in its structure and content of information. You too can
be a part of this development process. If you are an official AU
department, group or social organization, you can add your information to
EagleInfo.
