IT export areas in GREECE

  1. Hardware, software, telecommunications

    2. Unfortunately, Greece is not presently exporting any hardware, software, nor telecommunicational products. All of these categories are imported into Greece.

  2. Software, software services
    3. Most of the software services are offered through major computer companies who hold subsidiary offices within Greece. Companies such as Apple Computer have established service centers in Athens to meet the various needs of the Greek consumer.(21) In addition to the large computer companies, the several educational institutions illustrated in the Human Capital & IT in GREECE section also offer support for software and hardware.(18)
